Remo · Brand Book

Remo Brand Book

Remo strictly follows the ShivAI Design System — achromatic, dashed-border, square, system-native. This page is the reference for anyone designing or building with the Remo mark.

01 — The Name

Remo

Remo is the instant pulse of AI — a live, signal-filtered reader of the global Data & AI firehose, with an AI companion that summarises any story and answers questions about it.

The name carries the promise: Remo remembers what you read, and keeps you in real-time with what's moving. Short, spoken, lower-friction — one tap away.

Remo = AI news, the instant it breaks.

Spelling

Always Remo — capital R, lower-case emo.
Never: REMO, remo, Remo., Remmo.

Lockup

Always pair the wordmark with the A ShivAI product byline in navigation, and keep the ShivAI lockup in the footer.

02 — The Mark

The Signal Mark

Three concentric broadcast arcs radiating from a single centre dot — a live signal, the moment news breaks. It's a deliberate sibling to the ShivAI Spark Mark: same rounded-cap strokes, same square canvas, same near-black #111.

Broadcast arcs

Three concentric arcs radiating from a single source — the live signal, news as it breaks.

Centre dot

A filled circle at the origin. The source. A deliberate sibling to the ShivAI Spark Mark.

Proportions

56×56 unit canvas. Rounded-cap strokes at 3.5pt. Dot at 3.4pt radius. Square canvas, zero radius.

Clear space

Minimum clear space = the height of the “R” in the wordmark, on all four sides.

03 — The Wordmark

Remo
Remo

Remo

The wordmark uses system-ui — the native interface font of whatever device renders it. ShivAI is about function, not decoration; the font adapts to context.

Type

system-ui — the native interface font. Function over decoration; it adapts to context.

Weight

Remo is set at 700 (bold). The wordmark always pairs with the “A ShivAI product” byline in the nav.

Letter-spacing

-0.5px. Tight but not compressed.

Geometry

Everything square — zero border-radius. Only the live status dot is round.

04 — Colour Palette

Predominantly achromatic — black, white and greys. Charcoal is reserved for product CTAs and burgundy for primary / direct-access CTAs. The single green is for live status only. Restraint over decoration.

05 — Usage

Do

Use the mark + “Remo” wordmark as the primary lockup

Keep the “A ShivAI product” byline beside the wordmark in navigation

Use on white, surface grey (#F9FAFB), or near-black (#0A0A0A) backgrounds

Invert to white on dark backgrounds

Use 2px dashed borders for frames, rows, dividers and cards

Use the mark alone when space is tight (favicons, avatars)

Don't

×

Don’t change the font or the weights

×

Don’t add gradients, shadows, or glows to the mark

×

Don’t use the green for anything but the live dot and read ✓

×

Don’t round the corners — the brand is square

×

Don’t use emoji or a third-party icon set (functional Unicode glyphs only)

×

Don’t write the name as REMO, remo, or Remo.
